Retreat Dates

Attendance at all 4 retreats is required in order to participate with LEAD Four:Twelve. Students are not allowed to arrive late or to leave early.


  • March 16-18, 2018: First retreat @ JOURNEY (Goshen, VA)
  • July 10-12, 2018: 3-day mission/leadership experience (Winchester, VA)
  • November 2-3, 2018: Overnight Fall Retreat (Lake Anna)
  • March 15-17, 2019: Final service-based retreat and closing celebration (Goshen, VA)

2018 LEAD Coaches

  • Harrison Merriman

    Harrison studies biology at Virginia Commonwealth University, and is a small group leader for InterVarsity campus ministry. He has staffed Jeremiah Project for five years leading worship. He enjoys playing music, leading worship, and being with people


  • Debbie Cali

    Debbie Cali is excited to help youth will grow in their service and leadership skills. Debbie is eager to roll up her sleeves and  let the spirit get to work within and through each of us! Debbie is the Director of Student Ministries at Grace United Methodist Church, and loves spending time with her youth whenever possible.  In her spare time, Debbie roots for LSU football, enjoys listening to music, kayaking and hanging out with friends. Debbie has a wonderful family, husband, 22 year old son, and 20 year old daughter as well as her mom that all support and indulge her passion for youth ministries.


  • Drew ensz

    Drew is the Director of Ministry for Arise Campus Ministry at George Mason University.  Previous to his call to lead the ministry at GMU, Drew has worked with teenagers and young adults for over a decade.  He loves seeing teenagers and young adults creatively follow their call to have a relationship with Jesus and grow in their faith.  Drew has many years of service with JP, both as a youth pastor and as a speaker at camp.  He has most recently served as a coach for the LEAD Four:Twelve experience.  In his downtime he enjoys movies, reading and spending time with friends and family.  Drew especially enjoys spending time with his wife Catie and their two wonderful boys, Josiah and Benjamin.
