2021 LEAD Coaches

We are so excited to introduce to you our amazing coaches for our 2021 LEAD Cohort!

  • dwayne stinson

Dwayne Stinson has served in youth ministry for nearly 25 years and has been involved with Jeremiah Project since 2004. He served as a coach for LEAD 4:12 in the very first year of the program. He currently serves as the Associate Director of Influence Ministries at Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  He loves telling random stories, chilling and boating at the lake, and hanging out with awesome middle and high school youth.

    Hey there, this is Tori!
I am super excited to be a part of this ministry and am looking forward to all that God is going to bring from it. A little bit about me - aside from my love for Christ is my love for the beach! I have always been a beach bum, so Virginia Beach has been such a neat spot to call home for the past three years. I am a big fan of sports or anything outdoors; I can get pretty competitive. I have a beagle/coonhound named Sweet Pea and she is the best buddy ever. I help lead worship at church and have a deep passion for it, as well as being involved with our student ministry. Outside of time spent in ministry, I am a third-grade teacher and have been teaching for six years. It is exhausting but super rewarding and 100% entertaining. I never have a dull day and could write books about the stories I have accumulated over the years. Fun Facts: love dessert, learning the ukulele currently, enjoy reading a good book, and love to laugh - you often won't miss it!

I’m so excited to be serving as a LEAD 4:12 coach! I’m from Fredericksburg, VA, and my home church is Fredericksburg UMC. I attended JP as a camper for my three years in middle school from 2013-2015, and then completed LEAD 4:12 in 2017. Since, I have staffed as a J-staff in 2017 and a Worship Lead in 2019. I also have attended 3 summers at the Carolina Cross Connection mission in North Carolina. I absolutely love being a part of the JP family, and I’m so thrilled to continue to be a part of this incredible ministry through serving as a LEAD coach. I look forward to serving as a LEAD coach because I went through the program myself as a high schooler, and now I get to help lead students just like myself! I am currently a sophomore at James Madison University. Go Dukes!!!

I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communications with a double minor in Art and Entrepreneurship. My hope is to be an Interior Designer. Maybe you’ll see me on HGTV! I love all things theatre, music and art. I did lots of marching band and theatre in high school, and led the youth praise band at my church for 4 years. I don’t have any pets, but I do have many, many house plants! I love the mountains and may possibly be addicted to iced coffee. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for next year’s LEAD 4:12 class!
