2027 Cohort Dates & Coaches

Retreat Dates: 


The LEAD experience requires attendance at all 4 retreats. Students are not permitted to arrive late or leave early from any retreat.


Retreat #1: March 12-14, 2027. Goshen, VA (same weekend and location as the JOURNEY weekend).


Retreat #2: July 6-8, 2027. Romney, WV. 


Retreat #3: November 5-6, 2027 (Friday-Saturday). Lake Gaston, NC


Retreat #4: March 10-12, 2028. Goshen, VA (same weekend and location as the JOURNEY weekend).


2027 LEAD Coaches


  • GAbe Russell

    Gabriel “Gabe” Russell is a U.S. military veteran, Financial Controller, Financial Coach, husband, and homeschooling father with more than 10 years of ministry experience. His background includes youth ministry, discipleship, adult Bible studies, local and international missions, charitable fundraising, and outreach to disadvantaged youth. Passionate about leadership development and biblical stewardship, Gabriel is dedicated to equipping others through Lead Four:Twelve to grow in faith, leadership, and God's calling for their lives.

  • Aly Andrews

    Aly is currently in her senior year at Western Carolina University, where she is studying elementary education with double minors in TESOL and leadership. She is also a student-athlete on the WCU cheerleading team and serves as a student leader within her campus ministry.


    Aly graduated from Lead Four:Twelve in 2021, and the experience has continued to make a lasting impact on her life. She still applies what she learned through Lead to her college campus and Bible studies. She is excited to see what God will do through this cohort and looks forward to getting started!

  • Elly Johnson

    Elly has been married to her husband, Cam, for two years, and one of her favorite things is having her family close by and getting to spend lots of time together. She loves being part of the community at Trinity Church, where she is plugged into a small group and serves in student ministry. Elly graduated from Old Dominion University and is currently an elementary music teacher as well as a licensed nail technician.


    In her free time, she loves crafting, playing tennis, watching movies, and spending time with the people she loves most!
